Cape Hatteras Lighthouse

Today, continuing our trek across the state of NC, we were at the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse. We climbed 248 steps to the top of the lighthouse and took a look around.  A bit windy but great views.

 

 

 

 

Our Summer Adventure Continues...

 Today, we are in the Outer Banks of N.C. soaking up the sun at the Wright Brothers Memorial. We met Diane and Matt, Bea and Charlie at the Memorial.
. Do you remember the Tie Dye Brothers? Well, they grew up!

 

 

 

Grandfather Mountain

 We spent the afternoon at Grandfather Mountain. We went to the top and across the swinging singing bridge. It was a bit cloudy but the views were still wonderful.

 

 

 

 

Mini Golfing on a Mountain side

 We went mini golfing on a side of a mountain. It was quite challenging. We are in Boone, NC enjoying a beautiful day. Dave rode his bike up and down the mountains for 50 miles in the Blood, Sweat and Gears Bike ride.
