My last post about Christmas decorations. I actually keep this guy out through the month of January to help keep winter a bit festive. This nutcracker snowman was painted by my very talented mother-in-law, Marie. I am still amazed by all the detail and that she would grace me with such a gift. Thank you, Marie!
So, all the Christmas decorations are put away until next year. The house looks bare, it is cold and we are expecting snow and freezing rain tonight (but it is slow in coming). Ahh, winter! Usually, it is bearable here in the most northern of the Carolinas but we are tired of winter already and it has just started. I will think warm thoughts.
