S0, here's as update on the straw bale gardening. The tomatoes are looking great. We put cages on the 2 Roma tomatoes. The other tomatoes may not be getting enough sun but are full of blossoms. I did pick 3 cherry tomatoes. The cukes looks good and have baby cukes on them.
The green peppers and the zuchinni do not look so good. They are on the other side of the yard and it looks like something is eating them.
