Ben's class is doing a unit on Medieval times. Here is his project that he and his friend, Marshall, did about castles. They built the castle from cardboard and paper. The big event is a Medieval Feast. Here is Ben walking in the cafeteria wearing his white shirt with a red cross to show he is a knight. The feast consisted of chicken, corn on the cob, sliced potatoes, bread and cake which they ate with their hands-no utensils. I did not get a photo of the head table which had the ladies and noblemen plus the king and queen and the Pope. This is a fun event and makes history come alive for the students.
